I can let the cat out of the bag! Super, crazy excited to be designing and illustrating this book about Lucille Ball...comedy legend and hero to millions! I, for one, was obsessed with I Love Lucy when I was young. She's a national treasure.

After what seems like years looking for a sketchbook app that syncs across devices and keeps things simple so I can focus 100%, I settled on one. Surprised myself when I realized that @microsoft OneNote is absolutely crushing it for me!!! It's simple. It syncs across devices and platforms immediately. Infinite scrolling and expandable "canvases". Super powerful if I want to bring in reference images and links. And long form notes on the sketches can be written in...or typed! It's perfect for me. I have a tendency to rush sketches and start trying techniques before the sketch is fully realized. This app keeps things simple and keeping the focus on roughs is awesome.
