and Gallery
Art happens all around us.
Sometimes it gets a little weird.
Welcome to my world of fine art, digital collage, and three-dimensional assemblage.
I'm Tim Palin, and this is where I let my imagination off the leash.
Beyond the books, branding, illustration, and design work I create professionally, there's another side of my creative life that's all about experimentation, curiosity, humor, and making things that make people look twice.
From surreal digital collages and pop-art-inspired imagery to elaborate assemblage sculptures made from found objects, toys, treasures, and unexpected combinations of materials, my work explores the wonderfully unpredictable relationship between images, objects, memories, and ideas.
Some pieces are playful. Some are provocative. Some are a little sentimental. Others are just plain strange (in the best possible way).
There's usually a story hiding somewhere in the mix.
Welcome to my gallery.
Digital Collage & Fine Art
PICTURES FROM PICTURES
I love the possibilities of taking something familiar and making it completely unfamiliar.
My digital collage work begins with photographs, vintage imagery, found visual elements, and original artwork. I bring these pieces together, rearrange them, and occasionally turn the whole world upside down to create something entirely new.
The results range from surreal and whimsical to thoughtful, political, personal, and sometimes just a little ridiculous.
My Queens & Goddesses series celebrates extraordinary women, individuality, strength, and unapologetic self-expression. Other works explore pop culture, social commentary, identity, nostalgia, and the curious things that make us human.
Think of it as visual storytelling with a healthy dose of imagination and a willingness to color outside the lines.

Assemblage & Three-Dimensional Art
OBJECTS WITH A SECOND LIFE
I'm fascinated by objects. Especially the ones that have already lived a little.
A discarded toy, a vintage knickknack, a mannequin head, a rhinestone, a tiny plastic dinosaur, or something I found that I absolutely didn't need but suddenly couldn't live without.
These are the ingredients of my assemblage work.
I collect, curate, combine, embellish, and transform found objects into three-dimensional pieces that occupy a space somewhere between sculpture, pop art, and visual storytelling.
My approach is playful and intentionally eclectic. I love unexpected combinations, bold color, texture, sparkle, and the occasional dose of absurdity.
There's a little nostalgia, a little humor, and often a little more going on beneath the surface than you might initially expect.
I believe almost anything can become art with a little imagination, a lot of glue, and perhaps an unreasonable number of rhinestones.
