Today’s design challenge. Oh, deer! It’s a fun one today. Not only am I designing the book and packaging for an Origami kit, but I’m also creating the folding papers.  The other day, I received amazingly beautifully folded Origami animals (in plain paper) from the artist. My task is to plot features and color-blocking on these little guys, take apart the creations (as heartbreaking as that sounds), and use the flattened papers as my “art map.” Right now, I’m working up papers for a sweet little deer. Gotta make sure he gets spots on his back and a soft, white belly! Thanks to the genius of the Origami artist, it’ll happen! Check back later for more details about this kit!
