Fly me to the moon.
So, I spent my younger days with a pen and paper in my hand drawing. In fact, my parents would always have to remind me what time it was and tell me to go to bed when I was sitting at my desk with a single lamp drawing until I couldn’t see straight. It was a passion. It made me want to make books when I grew up. I’m happily spending my days as an art director and book creator. But I seem to have put down my drawing habit years and years ago. With some encouragement from my husband-to-be and some close friends and colleagues; I’ve decided that it was time. Time to play again. So drawing is back on the table. Sometimes a sketch or doodle is the finished piece. Sometimes, it serves a blueprint for a digital illustration.
Anyway. This is an introduction to my illustration work. Lots more to come.
